Free Electronic Waste Recycling in Park Slope on Saturday

Have any unused computer or electronic equipment sitting around? You can drop it off tomorrow (12/9) from 8AM-4PM at PS 321 on Seventh Avenue at Second Street in Park Slope. They're accepting working and non-working computers (laptops, desktops, servers), monitors, printers, keyboards, mice, cables, TV's, audio-visual electronic devices and cell phones. The email announcing the recycling noted that electronics contribute 70 percent of toxins found in landfills, even though they only represent one percent of the volume of landfills.
