Who could possibly not be amused by the possibility of seeing marionettes performing Hamlet on Jane's Carousel in Dumbo? Just typing the sentence makes us smile. The performances by the Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theater will take place from November 1-26 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 along with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 pm. The group's website says, "Protagonists are literally puppets of destiny in this production, staged with wooden marionettes among wooden horses."
