We bring back "Brooklyn Back in the Day," our series of historic photos of Brooklyn, with this shot of the Brooklyn waterfront in the 1940s. Our Greenpoint correspondent is sending a treasure trove of previously unpublished Brooklyn shots our way, so we should have a lot more interesting and never-published photos to post in coming weeks and months. All we can say is, there is some incredible material in the collection.
