Big Red Hook News: Ikea Opening June 18
The Red Hook Ikea will be opening at 9AM on June 18, which is significantly early than rumors which have been floating around for a while. Official word comes via Racked, per an announcement from Ikea. Store Manager Mike Baker is quoted as saying, "We made excellent progress on construction last year and so far this spring, so we are confident the remaining construction milestones and interior build-up process will be complete by mid-June."

Isn't there a thing where people line up and first in line gets like a grand shopping voucher?
Well of course they are opening sooner. doesn't take much to sell fake, particle board furniture.
