Brooklyn Nibbles: Slow Going at Organic Heights
We wandered past Organic Heights on Bergen Street at the edge of Park Slope expecting to find it open (it was set to open in October or November) and were surprised to find that it's still closed. In any case, the sign says it is coming very, very soon.

This place looks even more plastic than the wretched Chop Shop on Smith. Almost identical typeface, too. Ugh. And what's wrong with the Co Op?
Maybe it's taking a long time because they need to find words to Gratuitously Capitalize.
This place is a good idea, but needs some work. While the food is really great (the only thing that keeps me coming back), the atmosphere needs some serious work. Also, the staff needs to be trained on how to behave toward customers. Everyone is nice except for the older man working at the pharmacy, who's attitude I did not care for. He needs to learn some people skills. Hopefully they reorganize some things because I really like the idea and the food.
