Oh, and one bit of BREAKING NEWS: There are brownouts in parts of Sunset Park, a neighborhood that's been plauged by manhole explosions and other power-related problems lately. That news comes courtesy of an advisory from Community Board Seven. The brownout effects Sunset Park from 51st St. to 53rd St. between 5th Ave and 7th Ave. Con Ed has set up an ice station for residents at the corner of 53rd St and 5th Ave. Not that anyone in the reduced-juice blocks can read this.
