Mixed Message: Walk or Don't Walk

The GL reader who emailed us this shot correctly identified our love of odds street signs, if not mixed messages. He writes:

This one was taken on smith @ president (by the Gowanus Yacht Club.) Sounds like the DOT does not take any responsibility...you can cross the street at your own risk.

Well, one should certainly look carefully before crossing and make sure the lights aren't all red and green at the same time.
