Upcoming: Rocking the Stroller Wheels Off the South Slope
Anything that says "Rock the South Slope Til the Stroller Wheels Come Off" will catch our attention. So it is with this event brought to our attention that is taking place at the Living Room Lounge at 245 23rd Street at Fifth Avenue. It's billed as a free dance party and "quite the blow out" with a format that "is basically anything you can shake your ass to. Soul / funk / disco / house / hiphop / reggae / dancehall / indie. You get the idea. Djs are myself, Rut Roh, Soul Korea and special guest the Honorable DJ Caps of Caps and Jones fame."

since when is 23rd and 5th south slope?
Are kids invited? Wouldn't be much different than the normal clientèle.
That place is a dump. A bar should respect it's product (as well as its patrons). This place charges $5 for a 12oz. Bud and only $4 for a 16oz. draught beer (Sierra I think). So you get more of more expensive beer for less money - Why? I guess it's the "plastic cup discount"? Does it give you any clues as to how often they clean their lines? Or are they simply trying to make as much money off you, their stupid customer, who thinks the cheap smaller product would cost less then are suprised when they ask for more money.
I guess this is a public service announcement.
Charging less for more of a better product - that could be looked at as a plus. But it's not. It's gross there, and all I want is a bottled beer, if anything at all...
I don't care how many MILFs are at this party. I'm never going there again!
That's a nice poster. Does it give a time?
I'm pretty sure that Living Room Lounge doesn't have a cabaret license, right? So, why, in a year where so many bars and restaurants are being raided would they do such a thing?
the party starts at 10, but prob wont get going til a lil later.
to the dude who is the hater, please dont come.
thanks for the poster love
