Bklink: Better Late Than Never

"Here's a constituent e-mail from Brooklyn Assembly Member Joan Millman, who finally, bravely announces her intent to vote for congestion pricing. Note the time stamp: nearly two hours after the plan was declared dead."--Streets Blog

Better late than never? Not really.

We needed leadership from Millman. We needed her, at bare minimum, to come out publicly when the debate mattered and say, you know, pricing might really help my district. But she never said that. She waited til the plan was totally dead before coming out with her support.

Who will run against her in 2010? She needs to lose her job. She profoundly misrepresented her district on this issue.
